Division of Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology is the pioneer of pediatric rheumatology in Iran. More than 20000 rheumatologic patients seek care at the department. The experts in the Division of Rheumatology have provided guidelines for the related illnesses and are well recognized for their research and expertise. They also consult on patients with undiagnosed multisystem diseases and those with fever of unknown origin.

The Division of Rheumatology cares for children with: Henoch-Schonlein purpura,  Juvenile ankylosing spondylitis, Pediatric lupus, Kawasaki Disease, Spondyloarthritides, Psoriatic arthritis, Scleroderma, Vasculitis, PAN, JIA, Juvenile dermatomyositis, Juvenile idiopathic arthritis and all of the other rheumatologic cases.
